2nd Sunday is Coming…October 11th

2nd Sunday is a statewide event that encourages all forms of physical activity within the local community and is designed to get Kentuckians moving.  Communities across Kentucky are planning to simultaneously close a roadway or plan an event from 2-6 p.m. on the second Sunday of October so that residents can bike, walk, run, play and participate in fun and healthy activities.

 

In Louisville, 2^nd Sunday will take place on Champions Trace which runs between Newburg Road and Hikes Lane next to the old Bashford Manor Mall. The road will be closed from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. for this free event which includes activities for the whole family.
